Many pathological conditions, like fractures, trauma, ortho-paedic surgical procedures and arthritis, as well as other rheumatic and neurological diseases, can be effectively treated using our therapeutic procedures designed to obtain more rapid physiological recovery, the elimination of pain and improvement on a psychological level.            Therapies available are ideal for sports people to condition their bodies prior to or following sports activity and especially to treat sports injuries. OUR TREATMENTS and OUR TEAM       Modern rehabilitation techniques in combination with the biological effects of our thermal water are an innovative therapeutic tool. The following tables show the areas of intervention and the treatment methods implemented at La Residence & Idrokinesis®. Patients who have undergone surgery for: - Arthroprosthesis of the hip, knee, shoulder, etc. - Reconstruction of tendons in the foot, hand, knee - Musculoskeletal reconstruction surgery - Back surgery Plus patients who have not undergone surgery; Orthopaedic, traumatic and rheumatic pathologies, Neurological pathologies, vascular and lymphatic pathologies, Diagnosis and evaluations areas, external consultancy, thermal area, physical therapy and recovery area (booth rehabilitation), Kinetic area - booth rehabilitation or in the gym, rehabilitation in thermal pool.          The importance of the relationship between the attending physician and our team. Before the guest’s arrival: The guest’s personal medical history is fundamental in developing the best rehabilitation program. Therefore, prior to the guest’s arrival, we recommend that the attending physician contact the La Residence & Idrokinesis® team of specialists in order to best plan the highly personalised rehabilitation procedures to be followed. Upon arrival: Each guest undergoes a specialized medical evaluation, with the aid of any instrumental analyses needed to plan the personalized physiotherapeutic program. During the patient’s stay: Individual and group therapy sessions always take the guest’s needs into account. The patient’s progress is constantly monitored by our team of physicians and therapists as well as through biomechanical analyses, using the high technology instruments available at Idrokinesis®. At the end of the stay: The patient undergoes a final examination during which the results obtained are evaluated and a discharge letter is drawn up and addressed to the attending physician explaining the treatments carried out, the results obtained and a proposed program of activities to be carried out at home to maintain and  prolong the patient’s newly found state of well being. If necessary, a  follow-up visit is scheduled.      Aside from all the therapeutic treatments available, guests can enjoy a truly relaxing week of just reconditioning and de-toxing themselves to be the best they can be and to prepare for a new lifestyle of wellbeing.
