Hotel Il Moresco offers everything you may want to enjoy and relax: sunny hide-outs in the park, a spa for regenerating treatments, a pool-side snack-bar for tasty snacks, a ballroom with various arches and vaults among which you can find your ideal spot for reading, a large sea-front terrace from which you can enjoy watching the beautiful sky colour changing during sunset everyday, a piano bar featuring live music to dance the night away whilst sipping on your favourite drink skilfully prepared by our barmen.

Swimming pools and beach
Lush tropical plants surround the blue thermal swimming pool in the park. Our indoor pool is dug in the tuff rock of a grotto that used to be a wine cellar. Small thermal waterfalls have replaced the old wine casks. Through the spa our guests can have easy access to our greenhouse that is naturally-heated by our indoor warm thermal water pool and filled with different beautiful varieties of flowers and plants. The private beach and pier are within short walking distance of the hotel and offer you a breathtaking sweeping view of the Gulf of Naples.
 

History
In the summer of 1952 Sandro Petti, a young Ischia-born architect, met Mr. Fuchs, the old ‘Commendatore’, on one of the island’s beautiful beaches. The old man was so much in love with the island that he would like to have a small shelter to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The architect thought that the best way to enjoy the island’s atmosphere would be, instead, to share it with a group of selected friends. So what the old man needed was not a simple house but a large villa, a sort of a small hotel. Hotel Il Moresco opened in 1953: a tower overlooking the pine tree park amidst wonderful lush gardens with varieties of plants and flowers, and also outdoor and indoor pools.
 

 

Rooms
All rooms are tastefully furbished to create that home-away-from-home feeling that makes the most relaxing atmosphere for our guests. All rooms have a balcony or terrace and enjoy yard, garden or partial/full sea views. They are all beautifully appointed with original Vietri majolica tile floors, white-painted walls and pastel-shaded tapestry: everything adds to a typical bright Mediterranean refined atmosphere.
 

Restaurant
Our "La Pergola" restaurant serves traditional Mediterranean dishes under the shady pool-side pergola or in the dining room with bougainvilleas and hanging plants.
Our chef Giovanni Perna’s preferred style is a superb blend of classical, simple local cuisine prepared with fresh and high-quality ingredients and contemporary influences. He takes care of our guests and of their wellbeing by using only the best of the best ingredients - extra-virgin olive oils, fish, meat, fresh vegetables and fruits – and quick cooking time to preserve taste and texture.
